Bettenay's Nougat

Salted Caramel takes Bettenay's traditional Honey & Toasted Almond nougat and pours sea salt and slow-cooked caramel over the top, so the base bar's honey and almond are still there, under a firmer, salted layer. It is a more modern flavour sitting next to the classics on the same list.

It comes from the same Cowaramup, Western Australia kitchen as the rest of the range, where nougat is made behind a viewing window that visitors can watch through, with tastings on offer. The flavour list changes from time to time, so it is worth checking it is currently being made before you set your heart on it.

It is the bar to reach for if plain honey and almond feels too gentle, or to pack alongside the classic version so people can compare.
