Chilli & Lemon Olives are whole table olives marinated with fresh chilli and lemon, grown on Providore's own property in Margaret River. Olives take well to citrus and heat, the fruit's natural bitterness balanced by the acid of the lemon and a slow burn from the chilli that builds after a few bites.
The olives come from the grove about 600 metres from the property's tasting centre, on the same property whose olives go into Providore's own olive oil. A Garlic & Rosemary version is made from the same fruit, for anyone who wants both jars on the table.
Put the jar out as a starter before dinner, stir a few through a Mediterranean-style salad, or add them to a cheese and charcuterie board when guests turn up unannounced.
