This gift pack brings twelve chocolate bars together in one box, personally selected by chocolate maker Gabriel Myburgh from across the company's dark, milk and flavoured range. The maker says the selection may include an 80% Chuao dark bar among the award-winning ones, with the exact contents varying depending on what is currently available.
Every bar comes from Gabriel Chocolate's bean-to-bar factory in Metricup, Western Australia, where raw cacao from origins including Peru, Ghana, Uganda and Madagascar is sorted, roasted and ground into single-origin bars. Because the range is built around comparing one origin against another, a mixed selection is a sensible way to taste widely rather than commit to just one bar.
It is sized for giving rather than keeping to yourself: a housewarming gift, a thank-you, or something to post to someone who has moved away from the South West.
